I highly recommend this game for anyone that is not a prick, old games are amazing and very rich in story. The melancholy hits harder and the happy moments become better. The soundtracks fall exactly when needed in the story, it really glues up everything and makes it even more sorrow. i like both versions from ps2 and remaster. Despite all this the entire world felt super real, truly a great depiction of what developers wanted to transmit. The puzzle side is fun, easy yet tricky, u can easily get mislead by them till u realize how easy was. Everything is connected by traversible paths, u can’t really hide items and other goods like easter eggs since everything is so easy to spot.
The gameplay isn’t great, you basically follow long corridor’s. Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster Direct Play: On your way back to Zanarkand u start to slowly learn about this world full of death and sorrow, where the only pillar of hope are the summoners. Everything slowly revolves around Yuna as the central character. About the story i will keep it short so i won’t give too many spoilers, at first you might think that this story is about the main character(Tidus) but it’s not. The port is decent, there aren’t many changes so you can enjoy it whenever u played the old version or not.
And because i can enjoy anything old&new i also discover new games that i couldn’t buy years ago. One of the best games from PS2 era, i often find myself coming back to many old games because of their story. So many branching paths, so many choices and optimizations you can do, it’s one of the best leveling + skill system i ever played.
Even to this day i haven’t found something similar to this. Leveling is also great, the sphere grid might feel a bit overwhelming at first but it becomes so much fun when u realize how much customization you really have here. Other features in the PC version include remastered/rearranged BGM, International Edition content, Auto-save and 5 game boosters including high speed and no encounter modes.
